Mimi Zora
MIMI ZORA is a San Francisco-based writer and filmmaker. She wrote and directed the short film, Goulash, which premiered at The Sundance Film Festival and went on to screen in festivals internationally. Zora has written, directed and produced commercials, narrative shorts and a web series. She was accepted to Film Independent’s FastTrack program with New Mexican Rain, a feature film she is producing. A member of the WGAw, Zora works as a screenwriter in both film and TV and was a staff writer on 20th Television’s prime time drama, Desire. She is a founding member and curator of Tunnel Vision, a film and music event, which debuted in Brooklyn, NY inside the world’s oldest subway tunnel. As a freelance producer, Zora worked on projects that have appeared theatrically as well as on HBO, MTV and Nat Geo. She produced a live performance and video shoot for Bruce Springsteen and has worked in various production roles on Oscar winning films including Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood and Pixar’s Inside Out. Zora received a BFA in Film/TV from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Cameo Wood
Her debut short documentary film, "Dukha in Summer" was shot solo in Northern Mongolia and premiered at the St.Louis Film Festival. Cameo wrote, produced, and directed "Real Artists", a narrative thriller about Artificial Intelligence and the future of filmmaking. Cameo's career began in 2012 when she produced, and co-directed the web series "The Alternative Guide to Secret Beijing" which was then featured on Atlas Obscura. Cameo has since won awards for her direction, cinematography, and screenwriting. She is currently in pre-production on her first feature.
